About

I am Sapna and my name’s literal meaning in English is “Dream”.

I love traveling, it gives me energy. I plan and execute my trips. I traveled solo, with friends or family and I had done group tours. My travel style is simple. I like to see places, converse with local people to get the feel of the place. I don’t like to sit or sleep in a hotel room. I prefer to go out and sit on the beach or on banks of a river or in some cafe or roam around on streets. I travel style is a mix, I can stay in mid-range hotels or I can splurge and stay in luxury depending upon mood or place.

I like to add a lot of pictures in my post because I strongly believe that “A picture is worth a thousand words”. Sometimes a single image can convey more effectively than a long description.Apart from travel, I love food. I love eating…. but I also love cooking food. I prefer to eat local food specialties when I am traveling. I don’t look for “Home food” while traveling.

In my earlier life, I was working in Fashion Industry with the companies who cater to International brands.

I never thought that I will write a blog but here I am posting my experience.

All pictures on my blog belong to me. Do not use these without permission. Please feel free to contact me, if you have any query.

  1. Hello Sapna,
You’ve such a wonderful perspective on life and travelling as we know it. Would you be amenable to reading and reviewing a collection of short stories? Author Sharat Kumar has a collection of short stories coming out this time in January. In each of the 13 stories, uncovers the New Age woman and the chemistry between men and women in contemporary India. Whether spinning a yarn about an Army romance, or the affection between
two divorcees; Kumar holds a mirror to how sparks fly.
If you’re interested, I’d love to provide a PDF of the upcoming book to be reviewed in your particular fun, free and fearless way. Just ping me back at the email address hritvick.dv(@)gmail dot com.

    Cheers, and keep blogging.
    Hritvick
