So, I planned to travel with one of my distant (Ha ha…. because she was known to one of my friends and traveled with me earlier) friend as she looking to travel anywhere 😛 Driving is a most preferred…

Chandni Chowk Walk with Intach Delhi

We travel to far off places to see and experience culture but most of the time we don’t go to the different or historic places in our city. I had been exploring Delhi in bits and parts, sometimes on my own and sometimes with some professional walk (With Intach Delhi Chapter). Here is my experience of Chandni chowk walk. Bridge crossing Solution on Betwa River

Bridge crossing Solution on Betwa River

I came across a bridge in Orchha which has no side railing/balustrade on sides. It consists of just a cement road. The width of the road was just enough for a bus/truck and with one-foot extra space. It was one of the fun experience and we developed our bridge crossing solution. We crossed the road once in autorickshaw (Tuk-tuk) to go to the sanctuary and twice on foot to watch sunset/sunrise. After crossing the road couple of times, we got…

Wordlessly Wednesday

Wordlessly Wednesday

Last year I was in Varanasi and while roaming around in market, I spotted this gentleman. There were 2-3 band people and relatives also accompanying him. He was wearing his wedding attire and going on cycle rickshaw, which is unusual because in India I had always seen groom sitting on horse back or car. It was kind of strange or I can even say funny to spot someone like this. This picture I felt like sharing in these days of…
